I Peter 3:13-15

“Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. ‘Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.’ But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,”

According to Gallop Polls, most people believe in God. But when it comes to being “Christian,” they have very different ideas as to what that means.

AS CHRISTIAN STEWARDS WE HAVE BEEN COMMANDED TO LIVE DIFFERENTLY: 1 Peter 3:15

1. Christian stewards are to be zealous for what is good. v.15

2. Christian stewards may be nervous about sharing Christ. v.14

AS CHRISTIAN STEWARDS WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN CONFIDENCE TO TESTIFY COURAGEOUSLY: Acts 4:29-31

“‘Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.’ After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

1. Christian stewards will be persecuted for their testimony. v.29

2. Christian stewards must be prepared to witness for Christ. v. 29

THE ABC’S OF A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST:

Receiving Jesus Christ is as simple as ABC . . .

Admit that you have sinned. Romans 3:23

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you. John 1:12

Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life. Romans 10:9

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins and arose from the grave. I now turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I receive You as my personal Savior and follow You as my Lord. Amen”

3. Christian stewards should share Christ with family and friends.

4. Christian stewards should pray for miracles.
