FORGET NOT MERCY AND TRUTH Proverbs 3:3-4

“Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.” (The Message)

Questions to Ask Yourself:

1. Is it truthful ?

2. Is it profitable ?

3. Is it scriptural ?

4. Is it damaging ?

5. Is it necessary ?

6. Is it Christlike ?

7. Are my motives pure?

FORGET NOT YOUR DEPENDENCE ON GOD Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out every-thing on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, every-where you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.”

Reasons Why We Need God:

1. To save our souls.

2. To guide our steps.

3. To meet our needs.

4. To deliver us from evil.

FORGET NOT THE HOLINESS LIFESTYLE Proverbs 3:7-8

“Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!” (The Message)

Holiness as glory . Exodus 29:43

Holiness as purity . Amos 7:10-17

FORGET NOT YOUR OFFERING Proverbs 3:9-10

“Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over.” (The Message)

The Macedonia Model:

1. They gave beyond their ability .

2. They gave willingly .

3. They gave systematically .

 

FORGET NOT THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD Proverbs 3:11-12
