Three Most Desirable Kinds of Peace:                                                                   Colossians 1:21-22

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22But now he has reconciled you by ChristÕs physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusationÑ

1.         Peace of mind .                                                                          John 14:1-3

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my FatherÕs house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

2.         Peace at home .                                                                Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self‑control. Against such things there is no law.

3.         Peace at work .                                                                           John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace.”

Three Kinds of Peace Given by Christ:                                                                          Philippians 2:5

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

1.         Peace over problems .                                                              Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

2.         Peace beyond understanding .                                              Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

3.         Peace through justification .                                                       Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Three Ways to Maintain Personal Peace:                                                          1 Thessalonians 5:23

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1.         Trust Christ completely .                                                           Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

2.         Follow Christ faithfully .                                                                John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

3.         Know Christ intimately .                                           2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
