Six Joyous Steps to Lasting Contentment:                                                              II Corinthians 4:18

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

1.         Praise God for what you have .                                              I Timothy 6:6-8

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

2.         Don’t compare what you have with others.                      I Corinthians 10:12

3.         Understand that money does not buy happiness .             Ecclesiastes 5:11

As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owner except to feast his eyes on them?

4.         Build lasting friendships .                                                       Proverbs 18:24

5.         Release what you have to help others .                                  I Timothy 6:11

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

!           The root of materialism is to get .

!           The root of contentment is to give .

6.         Discover peace and contentment through making a lasting commitment to Jesus Christ.                                                                                     3 John 1:2

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
